Aegolius acadius
This is a Saw-whet owl:

They are:
1 - About the same general size as a VHS tape (7 ⅜" wide, 4" deep)
2 - Half the weight of a can of soda (11.5 ounces)
3 - Grouchy-looking

Have you seen an aegolius acadius in your neighbourhood?
Haven't seen one in the neighborhood - but I really like small birds.
Another really cute bird I have once seen is the tufted titmouse!
