Pavlov's Roach?

Great article about the latest study involving 'ringing a bell' and 'salivating'.

Sorry, I didn't read the whole article. I'm not quite interested enough in the discovery of conditioned salivation in insects.

Kudos to them for actually finding two food items that don't cause cockroaches to salivate!
Also interesting is the fact that they have a one day memory retention. Come to think of it, that's better than some humans I know.
Wonder what the retention period was for Pavlov's dogs?
*looks for a bell to bring to work...*

WoR -> I wonder if this works on turtles, finches or cats. Oh wait, I doubt anything works on cats!
